The Delta Iota Chapter of Sigma Nu Regains its Charter!
The Delta Iota Chapter of Sigma Nu has been rechartered after a year of endless hard work. Brothers continue to learn and live the values of Love, Truth, and Honor and through the pursuit of perfecting these values, the men of Sigma Nu continue to hold themselves to the highest standard in the Greek community at WSU as well as continuing to better the entire campus one day at a time. With the support of WSU Greek and Sigma Nu Fraternity, Delta Iota has aspirations of setting the trend in the Greek community for community service, philanthropy, grades and social events; the future possibilities are unlimited.
Just recently the men of Delta Iota celebrated the return of their charter which solidified the fact that they are here to stay at Washington State University. Among those in attendance at the chartering were President of WSU Dr. Elson Floyd, , Vice President of WSU Milton Lang, Sigma Nu Regent Robert Durham, Greek Life Director Anita Cory, and many Alumni dedicated Delta Iota and Sigma Nu.
After just one short year, there are already 52 men eager to make Delta Iota the best fraternity on campus, and a handful of men are excited to join the spring candidate class. Delta Iota became an official chapter in an unthinkably short time frame, and with the constant aspiration to be the best, who knows where the future will take them. With the Chartering a great success, the men of Sigma Nu look forward to a very busy and exciting semester and year ahead of them. They have many events planned, including a brotherhood retreat and several sorority socials including the first annual wedding with last year's Skin the Snake winner, Alpha Phi. Sigma Nu also plans to be active in intramurals.
